Media Studies

Our aim within the Media Studies department is to encourage young, enquiring minds to look closely at the way in which our world is portrayed through the media lens and then distributed around the world for public consumption and business revenue. Students are given the tools and knowledge to explore and question  for themselves the various ways in which society is shaped by our media.  We encourage students to explore the positive and negative, to see for themselves how these can both grow and also inhibit societal change.
