Teaching & Learning

Students follow a broad and balanced curriculum. 

The expectations of "Ready, Respectful, Safe" are present in our classrooms.

All lessons start silently with a "Do Now" activity, followed by a "Review Now" where teachers pick up on any misconceptions or gaps in learning and address these with the class before moving on . 

We follow "Rosenshine's Principles of Instruction" as our research based approach to teaching and learning. 

Our learning values are:

'Commitment, Curiosity and Courage'.

Through these we will encourage our students to be the best they can be through the way they choose to respond to the teacher and deepen their learning.
